Account Manager - Dublin
What's the role?
Construction in Dublin is booming. We are experiencing exciting growth in the business to ensure we can give the best possible service to our customers and the industry.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Account Manager to join our warm and dynamic team. There is no better time to join us!
Who is Hilti?
If you’re new to the industry, you might not have heard of us. We provide leading-edge tools, technologies, software and services for the global construction sector. We have a proud heritage, built over 75 years, and a worldwide reputation for pioneering products and exceptional service. With some 29,000 people in more than 120 countries, which we’re looking to expand, we’re a great place for you to show us your worth, step up to new challenges and grow your career.
What does the role involve?
As an Account Manager you will work and expand a portfolio of existing accounts while building relationships with core customers. This is no ordinary sales or business development manager job; we don't believe in a hard sell because our strong core values allow us to focus purely on building long-term sustainable relationships with our customers. We partner with our customers to understand their business needs and how our products can add value. This is why we stand out as the market leader.
What do we offer?
We'll give you everything you need to excel in your role, including market leading training. At Hilti we pride ourselves on developing our people and as such, we will give you all the support you need to grow your career. We offer a flexible working culture as well as other great benefits including 5 weeks holidays and a competitive bonus structure.
Why should you apply?
We have an excellent mix of people and some of our best account managers joined us with no experience. So, if you’ve never worked in sales or construction, that’s fine with us. Success at Hilti is down to teamwork and ability, no matter what your background.
What you need is:
- Methodical and driven approach to sales; with a sound ability to identify decision makers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective problem solving ability
- Ambitious about your own development
- Willingness to learn, passionate and driven
- A real team player with an eye for detail
- Full working rights in the EU with a full, clean drivers licence

“How am I going to sell power tools? I’ve never drilled a hole in my life! That’s what I thought when I first joined Hilti, but it’s really not like that. It’s about nurturing your strengths and being rewarded for hard work.”
