Financial Accountant - (12 Month FTC)

We are currently seeing a results driven financial accountant to for a 12-month fixed term contract at Hilti’s Head Office, based in Finglas. What does the role involve?
At Hilti, we work a little differently. We have a direct sales model which allows us to ensure a high-level customer interaction at every encounter. We love our customers!
As the Financial Accountant you’ll be part of our small finance team in Ireland, working closely with our Shared Service Centre in Manchester, UK. You’ll report directly to the CFO and work within a customer centric, direct sales Organisation.
Day to day, you will be responsible for participation in monthly management accounts preparation, identifying and driving process improvements, completion of month end/quarter end payroll bonus reports, quarterly forecasting, validation that internal controls are implemented and operational, preparation of financial information for management and stakeholders and additional tasks as required.
You will demonstrate initiative, drive and a deadline centric approach. This is a meaty role, where you can carve a reputation with an award-winning multinational and following the 12-month FTC be given opportunities to fulfil a robust and global career trajectory within finance.The opportunities are endless!

What you need is:
- Degree qualifications within Finance and Accounting
- Experience working within an accounting function
- Initiative, focus on delivery and deadline driven
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel competency
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving ability
- Willingness to learn, passionate and driven
- A real team player with an eye for detail
- Completion or studying towards ACCA, ACA, CPA or related qualifications
- Full working rights in Ireland
