Strategic Account Development / Business Development Specialist
What's the role?
To support the growth of the robust Irish construction market, we are looking for a Strategic Account Development Specialist to work with Hilti’s highly innovative advanced layout products within the Irish Market. The Strategic Account Development Specialist is responsible for the sales development of Hilti’s advanced layout products within Ireland. You will coordinate efforts of the entire team of Account Managers, Regional Managers, Sales Directors, Field Engineers and Marketing Team members with the goal of developing leads and improving market reach of advanced layout.
You will develop tactical sales plans, create account specific sales strategies, drive salesforce competencies, support the salesforce by conducting product demonstrations, completing direct sales calls with customers and implementing and steering product/marketing strategies in the application fields of advanced layout and high-end detection.

The Strategic Account Development Specialist role is highly strategic, partnering with existing customers acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our technical products and providing the sales organisation expert "hands-on" and support. This is coupled with supporting the launch of new products to customers and team members by acquainting them with product feature benefits and tool functionality.
You will keep in close contact with customers to determine application, software and service needs and test new products, collect data and customer feedback and provide marketing support to ensure new products are developed according to industry and customer needs.
The Technical Sales Specialist role is highly autonomous, your Hilti car will be your office and you will plan, organise and prioritise your time to ensure effectiveness. As this is a National role, you will drive growth through the 32 counties and some travel will be required.

- Strong commercial selling skills: ability to understand, build, present and demonstrate value Advanced to customers and successfully translate this into sales
- Customer centric focus: looking at the big picture, competition and project-specific
- Ability to time manage effectively, prioritising opportunities and customer support
- Ability to travel (including overnight stays) and work on construction job sites
- Full working rights in Ireland
- A full, clean manual Irish drivers license
