What's the role?

We are looking for a Support Engineer, to join our dynamic and growing Engineering team at Hilti‘s Head Office, just off the M50 in Dublin. This is a challenging role inclusive of technical expertise and high level of communication skills and customer centric skills.

What does the role involve?

As a Support Engineer, you will be in charge of maximising sales opportunities in a defined list of key regional projects through project management of all activities and coordination of all engineering resources. Your role includes providing engineering support and coverage to a defined group of customers as well as technical support, information, and advise to colleagues and their customers. In addition, you will be consulting engineers and focus customers, to gain specifications, through providing added value engineering services.

What you need is:

  • University degree within Engineering; Civil or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • 1-2 years of design experience and/or some sales experience would be an advantage;
  • English language fluency; fluency in additional foreign languages will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Excel;
  • Communicative and open personality with passion for results
  • Full working rights in Ireland
  • Committed to continuous learning and development
  • Good planning and time management skills
